4th to last. When Eng were 7 down. Was checking as you were typing.
Wonder if Root was thinking of that when he bowled himself then.

They're not really going to make us face more than the minimum overs are they? Where are the clouds?!

I didn't want to say it earlier because random people typing words on the internet can jinx cricketers hundreds of kilometres away to make mistakes, but SODHI YOU ABSOLUTE LEGEND! Great innings.

Wagner, not bad too .

Bit of a win for Blocky, this partnership. He always maintained that Sodhi's batting was better than his bowling and that he should try to make it in pro cricket as a batsman (primarily because he thought he was a horrible bowler, but still) and we all know how much loved Wagner.

Maybe it's just the cricinfo commentators confusing me but I'm completely bamboozled by what the playing conditions are here. Heard 98 overs max ("and we'll only get 75 with the light") and here we are in the 101st over of the day. Isn't there a set limit?

Just 126 runs to go. Are they going to play on until the Kiwis get there?

98 overs minimum.

Were they forced to bowl spin those last few overs? I can officially confirm that it's probably too dark to play test cricket in Auckland now

Min 15 overs in the last hour. Which starts later if they are behind the over rate. But Eng were on schedule so last hour started at 5:00, so they finish the over they are in when ground clock ticks to 6:00.

98 overs minimum.
So there is no theoretical maximum to how many overs you can bowl in a day? Or is that only the case because they are playing catch up?

Actually come to think of it I think I always knew this but had just forgotten because it's so unheard of for more than 90 overs to be bowled in a day now.

Oh you are kidding, not lbw but caught.

England hattrick for win? Or Southee getting a chance to finish the match with a six?
