It’s all on the subcontinent and therefore the same thing. Why is it hard to work out that India excels when spinners open the bowling? Once they develop a bit hopefully they’ll come to compete when the ball is bowled with an upright seam or above waist height. It’s not hard to work out. It’s been the same since they’ve played test cricket. Same with a number of the lesser cricketing nations.

Bowled within himself. One over went for 15 which included 2 drive balls and an edge to 3rd slip who was moved ball before.

Definitely wasn't his best. Feel he needs that aggression.

Bancroft really needs to have a spell. Not done enough at all, when his innings here is one of his more productive ones you can safely say he needs to go before next summer so he doesn’tfeast on the crap that is India’s bowling.

I think it's bullshit ftr. There's no real source barring a suggestion that the Bairstow sledging went beyond headbutt jokes, but I don't think anyone would stoop to that level. Sounds like another "choo choo" to me.

Khawaja really needs runs second innings. Admittedly the ball he got was a good one or at least set up well.

Philander is a tubby bloke without any of the classic fast bowler attributes of pace, height, steep bounce etc. and still easily the best quick on show.

Will be interesting if he can trap Smith in front like he did Kohli a couple of times.
