The lack of mental relience that this lot have vs the line up of Sehwag/gambhir, Dravid, Sachin, VVS, Ganguly is ridiculous. Sehwag's wasn't great but that guy was hella talented and got away with it and even when he failed we had the middle order to pick up the slack. These guys are all "talented" but barring Kohli lack mental discipline. Pujara has the mental game but no technique. It really is quite disappointing.

This is the best bowling line up India has had for a long time, with 5 solid international class fast bowlers and 3 great spinners (Ashwin, Jadeja, Kuldeep as back up). It's quite sad that the batsmen are letting the bowlers down like this.

our traditional 4th innings unraveling has begun...they are not going to get close to this target...

loose from Lokesh. Complete brainfade.

You can forgive Vijay for the delivery he got, but Lokesh needs to be reprimanded.

Will need a Kohli special with Pujara hanging in there from the other end. Only route to victory now. Not going to get significant contributions from Rohit, Pandya ,Parthiv and Ashwin.

If there's one thing I miss about that 2007-10 team, it is the resilience they had as a batting unit while chasing in the 4th innings. Several 200+ totals were chased down and they successfully dead-batted a few draws as well when they needed to. This team doesn't really have that.

Usually chases like these start promisingly before quickly being wrapped up. The only logical deduction from this is that we will collapse up front and then chase it down comfortably with a Shami bop over long on for six.

When Kohli has stopped timing the ball after that hundred, you know it's going to be difficult to score runs....

I have a gut feeling Kohli will double up.

By doubling up I mean hundreds in both inns

Pretty sure most Indian fans here said this is their best chance to win a test series in SA.

They have to play Rahane.

Just like India have their Wheel of Mediocrity of pace bowlers, SA have their Wheel of Excellence. The Wheel is forever.
