This is completely on Kohli. This is what happens when you don't select your best batsmen and get the selection wrong on a crucial series like this.

symptoms of a deeper cause imo. how many more times do on-paper good sides have to be ransacked overseas before the #intent meme dies, at least in unfamiliar conditions

If Kohli and this middle order bat extremely well they'd only get parity. I just think this was a great opportunity for India, with this wicket.
