PLus, it has taken him a while but over the last several months, he has understood the importance of sometimes pitching it on a good length, rather than always being short. He might not personally score very many, but it definitely helps the others the longer he sticks in there.

It is an alright tactic against most attacks, because you just see off the top bowlers. But when facing a top quality attack there is no let up.
