Curran did ok on dayboo but all the slower balls and the short of a length stuff just looked like 1 day bowling. No idea how he was going to get a wicket. Wasn't alone in that though. Bowling dry and waiting for swing is all this group has it seems.

I don't mind it. At least it's something different. I actually think not enough slow balls are bowled in tests in general.

They probably don’t see much point in massive changes. The players that have played thus far are going to be in the team for a while after this series - barring any retirements etc - so what’s the point in bringing someone else in for a couple of games?

Plus, it’s not as though they’ve anyone else on tour likely to make a difference. The only person that likely could have is still waiting to find out if he’s getting charged for his night out scrap.

Yep - definite Road. That's why they didn't make 300.

First we had the bouncy road, then the swingy road, then the quick road. Now we have the difficult to score on road. This was always on the cards, because Saturday is the last day of the test.

News flash, the back ups in the squad aren't any better then the selected eleven. In addition, there's no players not in the squad who would make much or any of a difference
