I get what you are saying and agree, but I really hate that term. Don't think he's traded up at all rather let her down.

Why are you assuming his relationship ended because of the new lady on the scene, instead of it ending and him then taking up with someone new?

It depends if we're talking sort term form or longer term "better" bat.

Short term form Marsh has a case to be in the top 6. Even then, Burns, Bancroft, Khawaja and Maxwell all have equally good cases for selection. Ferguson has had pretty much the same career as Marsh domestically, is in at least as good form but has only had a single test.
