TNT, in order to claim that Anderson and Broad weren't bowling well, simply because they hadn't gotten sixteen thousand wickets in the game.
I don't think he saw anything of the match but the highlights on the internet, so it's easy to understand him being misinformed.

Starc's living on a one day world cup performance and getting a few Sri Lankan fishermen out. Defo the bowler England need to be facing tomorrow.

Cummins bowled very well and Hazlewood is always a threat.

It's Root or bust tomorrow... he has to come in with the mindset he's on 0... build an innings again. No chasing full wide filth until he's seeing the ball well.

I got called out six months ago for calling Rabada and poor man's Cummins and rightly so, but the battles between those two quicks in the coming years will be incredible.

How the hell is Hazlewood end up becoming less potent than Starc. Disgraceful. But also delightful in the context of results.

I like Milo... clearly just on the windup and people keep falling for it. He feeds off the abuse.

Yes, but the Kookaburra balls are crap. Barely swung at all at Brisbane even when it was new. They could start by using a significantly thicker string for the seam.

Speaking of swing, Cummins getting the ball to swing in a bit. I'd still like to see him get that big out swinger he once had going, seems to be more movement off the pitch at the moment. Not that that's stopping him, he's in some fine form at the moment. It's a travesty Starc has taken more wickets than him, hasn't bowled one third as well.
One of the games real mysteries.

South Africa in many ways very similar to Australia with weather and pitch hardness and use of the kookaburra but we tend to get more swing here. It's not like it's only on the highveld as Cape Town is like Perth & Durban like Brisbane. Although in recent years reverse has become more lethal in Durban.

The seam is an interesting issue and I would say the seam movement is probably the biggest difference between the countries considering the similarities.

Great to hear. Hopefully catch some highlights later. Cummins in full flow one of the best sights in cricket at the moment.

??

Rabada is at least equally as good.

Also worth noting that even during Cummins' hostile spell at Root he was still managing to score off him

i assume if root nicks cummins first thing tomorrow morning it'll be because he didn't want to win, ofc
Upon a good night's sleep Root decided that he didn't want to will himself to victory and instead would leave it to the Gods

England's match to lose if Woakes/Ali still there when/if Root gets to his ton?
yeah probably mainly because that suggests a good partnership has formed. Root getting a ton doesn't mean England win but if a 80+ run stand can form that makes it really tough for Australia
