It needs saying again: bowling first was really stupid decision, clearly based on the gutlessness of the batting. And it looks like they're going to get a nice long session against the new ball under lights as their reward.

Absolutely. It's clear Starc and Cummins don't care about runs as much as they care about time right now.

Can't help but feel that England are trying to play the long game by giving Marsh a ton but they're losing the game in the process.
