Tendulkar missed out on being the first, and perhaps only ever, player to have played a career long enough to have seen a million runs scored, by only 355 runs. Surely, during his illustrious career there is one shining example of an extraordinary bowling performance or team collapse that we can assuredly conclude cost Tendulkar a million runs.
