This is pretty ugly considering two of the dismissals were to rank shots. Root was never going to be able to breeze to a score like he usually does, should have played accordingly.

Malan was the one who was most likely to be dropped after this series at the start of First Test and now he's one of the few fixtures of Test side for Ashes
