***Official*** Australia in Bangladesh 2017

Aussies are going to run away with this game. Hope Steve Smith makes a careful and aggressive declaration.
No way

We have to get another 200 runs at least at some stage

Why not get them with 18 wickets up your sleeve, than with 10 wickets up your sleeve on a last day pitch?

Declaring early only evens the game up, it doesn't create more time

Bangladesh have given new meaning to "home ground advantage". They've got the weather in their pocket. The number of times they've benefited from rain giving them series results (usually draws tbf) over the last few years has been excellent.

It's actually been a good, if somewhat truncated, Test Series

Really gripping and transfixing

Now if the rain pisses off, we could have a thrilling denouement

Whatever it takes!!!
Apparently the drainage is state of the art and the rain has stopped. So lets hope play is underway before long, although Australia may still be disadvantaged by this.

Too much pessimism on account of the weather. We're having a result on Day 4. Bangladesh will fall in a heap and balance will be restored.

Assuming it doesn't continue raining on days 4 and 5 too, obv.

It's good to see none of the Deshi supporters being happy about the rain. Only thing worse than praying for rain imo is when people hope someone on the opposition gets injured.

Never got this myself. I suppose some people don't mind pyrrhic victories, case in point being Aus winning in India in 04 ;)

Winning 1-0 is hollow if one game is more than half rained out

I want to see BD fight back from this position and find a way to stay in the game. I hope they haven't given up already.
