Yeah, I mentioned that last night in another thread. How can you break all those links like that? You can't access any of the scorecards, match reports or other bits and bobs for the archive page now. It's completely ****ed.As far as I can see according to cricinfo Test cricket didn't begin until 2003 - bye bye Bradman, and indeed TOTAB
lol so cuteOne thing I will say is it does seem quite a bit snappier and more responsive to navigate (in terms of loading times), used to really grind sometimes, I felt.
Not that this makes up for the massive downgrade in usefulness, of course, but if they listen to feedback and get it more back to how it used to be in functionality without compromising this too much, that'd be good
I remember when the previous Cricinfo design iteration was launched and people said the exact same thing.Wankers. This should be some sort of case-study in how to **** up a good thing.
They're not catering to people who write applications to brute-force download all their scorecards either. Bastards. They change every few years anyway... people will just get used to it. My only gripe with this one is that they have kinda hidden my two favourite sections - The Cricket Monthly and Statsguru which basically tells you that catering to geeks is not necessarily their priority when planning site design
Man I hated that last one, made everything so hard to find.I remember when the previous Cricinfo design iteration was launched and people said the exact same thing.
And they were right. It was made worse but then people just got used to it and forgot how good it used to be. Now it's even worse again.I remember when the previous Cricinfo design iteration was launched and people said the exact same thing.
