It doesn't seem as though Harris was actually saying anything it relation to this game though, he was just saying that Aus have a good pace attack and they might do well against England. It was the author that drew the link to the current Eng/SA Test.

they offered 22.5% which was down on 26% but a) they wanted a review regarding some of the revenue streams that do not go into the 22.5% ("shared zero per cent of digital revenue with the players despite extensive use by CA of their efforts, appearances and attributes on its digital platform") and b) 'grassroots' had to get 22.5% too, so I think we know why they got knocked back

The stubbornness and pig-headed mentality from both sides over "revenue-sharing" is so extreme it's quite impressive in a way.

Even though the TV broadcasters and potential new sponsors are panicking CA still seem to think any sort of revenue-sharing model is apparently a fate worse than death. The rest of the CA board must seriously be intimidated by Peever if they can't go against him on this.
