Playing for Durham is enough for some around here.mark wood has done absolutely nothing to warrant being tagged 'high class'.
This sums it up perfectly. He's average, bowls too short and isn't fast enough to be a proper enforcer. In team by default but running out of chances
25 wickets @37 says different.Well I'll just have to disagree with all of you (not for the first time). He has just had a bad day at the office here.

Thought he should have played this one but after the way Wood did ok in one dayers I can see why they went with him. TRJ to play next week as Wood can't play back to back games anyway.TRJ should be walking onto the field next test. lad has earnt his spot.
have to say, just don't see him as a Test Bowler, think Coverton orTcurran (doesn't work as well that one) would be better, but I guess you can't argue with TRJ.TRJ should be walking onto the field next test. lad has earnt his spot.
yeah i get that.have to say, just don't see him as a Test Bowler, think Coverton orTcurran (doesn't work as well that one) would be better, but I guess you can't argue with TRJ.
I have him at 35.60. He has only played nine tests? His (international) career was just getting going before his ankle broke down (twice). If he remains fit he will be one of the key performers for England. He bowlers low slung skidders at 87 mph.25 wickets @37 says different.
