In much the same way as us with Bairstow it is managing the workload in a way that is best for the team. It may take a couple of years to get it right for both sides.

Hard on the guy if the top order flop and they walk out at 30-3 after they have kept for 100 overs+

Well the last time SA lost their best fast bowler midway through the first test of a big tour, with them already way behind in the test, it worked out ok for them.

How loud was it? I've only seen the GIF. I'm against send offs, but it's not like he went up into his grill to say it to him. A general "**** off" as you dismiss the batsman is fine.

They are going to be missing 3 of not just their best bowlers, but the best bowlers in the world next test.

No team can deal with that.

Not acceptable only if it is meant. Like when you get into someone's face and you say it because you mean it. If you take a wicket and say "**** off" as the player is passing by, which is what happened here, it doesn't have anything to do with the meaning of those words.

Fine at best. But giving a point when you know it makes him miss the next test makes you an administrative dumbass.

Well the ones in the touring squad would be a huge surprise if they did anything that special so it would have to be someone from home or a random bloke playing club cricket over here.
