Defence hasn't been an issue, pretty sure only Spurs have conceded less goals that you.

United's problem is not scoring enough, there's about a 20-25 goal dropoff from everyone else in the top 6 to United.
Agree on the goals but I feel that having 1 or sometimes 2 defensive mids covering and insisting your wide players track back helps your goals against column and hinders your goals for column. It's unrealistic but I hold out hope that a tight back 5 would convince him to let the front 6 loose.

A tight back 5 is only tight if the front 6 also defend.

Both thrillers by the look of things. What a 15 minutes Grecian has just lived through.

Spurs are still really good.

Incredible scenes in both play offs. I don't like Blackpool but they deserved the win after that disgraceful penalty was given against them

I flicked that on just before the second half kicked off. Tim farron blabbering on about a second referendum

Do we know if Blackpool fans are boycotting the final? The empty ground for the first leg was very odd.
Unfortunately yes, wanted Luton to win, would probably be a difference of 50k to 30k, 25% of the revenue, that's going to sting. Will be a strange atmos too. We outnumbered Morecambe a lot, but they were still quite loud.

but who am I kidding I don't care that much, We're going to ****ing Wembley.`

They'll still take more than Forest Green did
I remember when we made the Conference finals, the amount of money you got was pitiful from the Finals which pissed us off a bit as we took loads, another reason to hate the tinpot League is it still the same?

25% is okay, not brilliant, but Wembley have to pay for themselves I guess, and obviously the tickets are indecently priced so will be a decent wedge.

Still can't see us keeping Watkins whatever happens, but we live in hope.

The profit is split three ways between the two finalists, and then the rest of the clubs except Lincoln. Given the cost to hire it I believe we'll have made less from it than the home semi, probably by quite some amount given we had 10.5k at that.

Hate this ****ing league btw. Heard about the play-off format for next year?

Well I think that deal is better than it was. Long time ago though.

Yeah I did, sounds ridiculous, but will no doubt be a money spinner for the conference.

TBH, I'm not against the fairly simple one they have in the Leagues to go up into the conference. Team higher up gets home advantage in a one-off, that makes it a bit fairer on the better League teams, yet they're scratching that in favour of this convoluted system too aren't they?

A lot of matches to be arranged, not voted through yet is it though.

I actually hate play-offs of any type. I understand all the arguments about it keeping the season open for more teams for longer etc. But I think that if you work hard enough and put together a team good enough to be promoted you'll finish in the promotion places, and if you don't tough ****. Turning a league into a cup competition is ludicrous.

I think the "Conference" might vote that nonsense through just because it gives more teams a chance they don't deserve.
