Hope England raise their game. They certainly have the talent. The 5-0 was hilarious since they'd won 3 straight prior to that, but a proper closely fought Ashes series like this one would be nice.

On a side note (and speaking as someone that has suffered numerous shoulder injuries), Kohli does not look to me to be somebody "in pain" e.g. I could no more lean forward with my arms resting on the seat in front of me than fly in the air. There is no doubt in my mind that other cricketers would have played

I think especially so on a pitch like this because it has the Oz-like characteristic of bounce which makes Lyon a much more dangerous bowler (even moreso than a spinning wicket) while - esp if he's a bit off his game - can make SOK look very limited.

Trying to work out how India wins it from here. They need another 75-100 runs out of the tail, then bowl Australia out cheaply to leave a chase of <200. Neither of those two things are out of the equation at all, though I think the latter is more likely than the former. If Australia knocks the last four wickets over for parity or even a lead (keeping in mind they have a virtually brand new ball available this morning, and then make 200 plus) it'll be really tough for India given they're a batsman short.
The series probably goes the way of these last four Indian wickets tbh.
