it'd be sensible to let India keep the review if it was hitting. but since it was umpire's call that no ball saved their ass. they should be happy it wasnt called live

Why would being a no ball mean they don't lose their review? If anything they should lose extra for reviewing a correct not out call when the bowler stepped over the line

tbh ***** against test standard 140kmph+ bowlers i wouldnt back myself to focus my vision from the bowler's front foot to the batsman fast enough to make accurate lbw calls

that might be why

Ump didnot give it out based on no ball. If he had balls to call the no ball without checking he would have done that instantly.
