Pitch looks to have a lot less demons than days one and two tbh. Still doing a lot sideways but not the alarming discrepancies in bounce. Then again, two set batsmen and an older ball so likely he state of the game more than the pitch .
Shoots to pieces those assumptions that subcontinent turners always get worse as the match goes on, doesn't it? No one really knows how the pitch will change over 5 says. It's wild guesswork at best.

Really good day for India. Match vey even going into day four. If they're still batting at lunch tomorrow they'll be heavy favourites.

IF we can last a couple of sessions tomorrow (big if), then we're in with a shout.

No doubt we'll lose both the overnight batsmen in the first 4 overs tomorrow, though.

nah this is game done, and the series gone with it.

the wicket has got less threatening....which might make aus batting easier...but those half chances off pujara and rahane really really hurting....

Australia lifted their intensity in the last 30 mins but that was a pretty disappointing session by them. Their discipline wasn't what it was with the ball today all day that it had been in the previous three innings but they seemed to go mentally flat that session as well.

Great stuff by Pujara & Rahane - India in a great position now.

The second new ball tomorrow will make or break the game. Another 50 quick runs like today will pretty much give us the platform to put the game beyond Aus' reach.
