New Auction Draft

kingkallis

International Coach
Beat ya, bro

Also Compton, kindly consider Freddie and Ashwin's old bids since nobody posted after me.

Andrew Flintoff 5.7m
Ravi Ashwin 3.9m

Compton

International Debutant
Auction Round 6 - He's a Keeper

1) Adam Gilchrist (AUS)
2) Mark Boucher (SA)
3) Ian Healy (AUS)
4) Moin Khan (PAK)
5) Alec Stewart (ENG)

Auction round ends at 2130(GMT). To avoid panic, there will be sufficient opportunity to buy keepers after this round; and there will be at least enough keepers auctioned for everyone to get one.

I know I got Imran... did I get Kallis though before the round ended? I just need to know for budgeting reasons?

Yeah your bid is technically late, but I've allowed late bids before and so everything before my "end of round" post counts. I may change this rule to have it go by actual forum time, so I'd appreciate thoughts on this.

Either way, yes.

The problem that happens is that somebody can wait until 21.30 and post exactly on that time and you have no ability to up your bid, even if you were willing to bid more. Consider it is an auction give people say 2 min after the last bid after 21:30 to up their bid. This stops "sniping" Theoretically, this could allow a perpetuity of bidding but practically nobody will go forever.. my thought suggestion.
