Really with this? Can we not just assume the worst when you could easily just say they're ****** umpires.
If you can watch Kohli bollocking the umpire with no censure what so ever, plus multiple howlers all in India's favour then fair enough. Strange how these terrible umpires only make mistakes which benefit India though aye?

There is no doubt that (a) the pitch was slow and (b) the death bowling was good, but both teams had wickets in hand. That's the problem I have with the batting. Sure you can't tonk everything for 6 but you can have a crack earlier than the 19th over!

if he is legit favouring kohli because of kohli's aggressive behaviour, he's not doing it cause kohli is indian. he's doing it cause kohli is acting like a ****.

totally agree with mw1304. can't we just bollock the umpire without resorting to this partisan nonsense?

It's not exactly a boatload of evidence for it. Like I said I'd rather not assume the worst. After a loss it looks especially sore.

Knew it all along!

Man I would have been a machine if I had some talent. Can read a pitch like a mother****er.

You should be thankful it happened in an ultimately meaningless t20 and not a test match in which you've played well but end up losing and go 0-2 down in a 4 test series thus ensuring there's no way you can win.

The umpire is being a human being who lives in India and knows that any kind of actual umpiring of the biggest star in the country will be looked on far from positively. If you don't think that at the very least has subconcious pressure then you need to do a bit of reading on psychology.

Turning point was Stokes' filthy slog. I think they were in complete control before that

edit: Maybe Morgan's wicket can be brought up too but you can't criticise Root for not hitting and then criticise Morgan for hitting out I guess.

I thought Stokes ****ed it up with his shot. They could have cruised from there. (Apart from the umpiring aspect).

At least he was trying the slog though, have no problem with him getting out like that. It's Root at the other end not doing so that ****ed us.

You'd think that if the umpires were partisan they'd do their thing with more sublety like not calling Stokes out after he was out on a no-ball. Not give decisions that the public are going to barbecue for. Bad umpire under pressure is all there is to it imo.

There should be neutral umpires for all games anyway. **** this.

Lol if you think anybody would have had problems with him giving Kohli out... This is sounding a bit pathetic now.

Morgan tried to go for it atleast. Root was woeful.
