What on earth are we doing here?

Not looking to accelerate and wasting time, zero intent.

One of the reasons why I want Kane gone asap, there is zero logic, direction and intent.

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
So if we want Santner to follow Swann, we'll drop him for some time where he goes back to domestic to develop his game and come back as a world beater? OK

This is a great performance for the 'Mahmadullah Should Bowl More In Tests' campaign

We were losing some steam based on his bowling in BD lately where the other spinners were tearing it up, but he is showing his value here.

I think he's touched that.

Jammy ****ing wicket, but at least that brings Southee in for his six or out and hopefully Kane is forced to advance the game rather than drift away.

This test, combined with the previous ODI, T20s and performances against other teams has completely convinced me, Kane is not a captain's jockstrap.
Finally someone that agrees.

So who takes over? Latham, Taylor or Watling?

Difference being Swann got overs in domestic; don't selectively read ****, we already discussed this.

Taylor is already a failed captaincy attempt, Latham needs to establish himself, Watling would be fine in my view but they won't go that way, they'll keep Kane in the role for several years regardless.

Bangladesh are going to get so much confidence from these last 2 hours.

All over NZ, we're the team playing for the draw.

We're delaying the inevitable with Kane.

Always too soft to make the tough decisions, it has been abundantly clear for a while now that Kane is a horrible leader, too timid and tactically inept.

You can't sit around and play defensively when you have no world class cricketers.

I was saying during the limited overs series that I didn't think Williamson should be captain. Mainly because I think that it's been detrimental to his batting, but I also find his captaincy difficult to fathom.

I'd give the job back to Taylor and get rid of Hesson while I was at it.

There we go Santner... pure, nothing wrong with that, just as much hitting power as anyone you mention when he gives it the golf swing.

Because Taylor was just the greatest captain ever...

We may as well split it.

Give Guptill the T20 captaincy, Taylor the ODI captaincy and Watling/Taylor the Test captaincy.

I would like to give Latham a chance as captain in a few years time.
