Bill Lawrie commentating in Sydney? I thought he only did Melbourne these days. Good to see though.

Amir's been guilty of bowling on Warner's pads. Can't do that man.

Awesome to see.

Hoping that means the puke Nicholas isn't commentating this match, then I won't need to use mute every so often.

I can't take Nicholas commenting Australia games anymore.

Bill's always done Melb and Syd since he stopped being full time.

He might talk up Melbourne, but he likes to get a trip to civilization once a year.

I'm wasn't aware of any health issues, is that the reason Lawry made the trek to Sydney?

By puke I was purely referring to his ghastly sycophantic commentary style.

The thing I like about Warner is he hits a lot of boundaries along the ground i.e. he plays good cricketing shots. We've seen a number of dynamic openers who take the aerial route but Warner is not one of them.

I have always hated C9's commentary. Far too patriotic. Especially when Slater and Warne get over exited. Clarke's voice is far too whiny also and he does that thing that a lot of young Aussies do where they raise the tone of the pitch of the voice at the end of sentences as if they are asking a question every time. It gets on my ****.

I quite liked Nicholas' commentary for Channel 4 and 5 in the UK. He sucks up too the Aussies a bit too much on 9.

The only one I like is Waqar and Bill Lawry
