Wow if Warner can't ton up in situations like that where he usually prospers something amiss.
He's thinking it was a bad decision not to enforce the follow on and threw it away.Wow if Warner can't ton up in situations like that where he usually prospers something amiss.
Well, it's forgivable in the circumstances isn't it? This whole innings now is declaration batting.Warner should work on his leg spin and bat at six as a slogging all rounder. Fmd that **** shits me so bad. Just hoiks at everything. An utterly brainless cricketer. Should never get within a bulls roar of the captaincy.
Looks genius when he gets lucky though and gets away with his french cuts & mishits in between fielders. He's just that sort of player who's always needed a lot of luck to get big runs. To his credit, he hits the ball hard enough to make his own luck.Warner should work on his leg spin and bat at six as a slogging all rounder. Fmd that **** shits me so bad. Just hoiks at everything. 3 in a row. First innings Warner batted at 3 and came in at the fall of Renshaw's wicket. Is that 4 innings in a row now that Renshaw has outlasted Warner?
Lol, He and Smith & Khaw (to a lesser extent) are your only decent established Test batsmen atm, and he averages 47, surely his place isn't even close to being in question, whether he has a couple of average series or not. This isn't Australia 2003, where you had great batting everywhere you looked.India is huge for Warner in my opinion. I don't think he will score runs and that will be another overseas tour he fails on. However, for his own sake and reputation, he really needs a Hayden 2001 type performance.
The new laws won't change much. It isn't just the size that makes modern bats so deadly, it's the weight distribution. The sweet spot is massive, which is why you don't need to "middle" it in the traditional sense to see the ball fly away.Kind of think the bat laws being proposed on size hits Warner hard if ever implemented. Gets so many runs from placing the bat on the ball and getting runs via the bat. Those half shots that beat fielders that wouldn't with the older bats.
