***Official*** England in India 2016/17

India seriously unlucky so far not to have a few more wickets. Also jayant is apparently stiff from the last game

Ali not even a batsman the way he's playing. Looking clueless against even such slow spin. Could've got out numerous times. Only a matter of time..
The pitch is at present, however, is pretty flat & slow, so not that easy to dismiss batsman. They can play on the backfoot when uncertain about length.

Google tells me that the next series is in July. If true, this is a bit baffling tbh.
Yeah, no test for 6 months then 12 in the next 6 months. Stupid way to do it.

In fact we will end up with 22 tests in 14 and a half months from next July which seems like burn out central for someone like Stokes.

Seems England are half on the plane already. Horrible start for them
It's part of the crap culture of the side. Our record in final tests is dire, even when we haven't been outplayed in the previous ones.

Jennings perhaps not quite the shoe-in we thought for the next five years or so.

Disappointing turn out after the excellent crowds at the Wankhede (I've been watching Australia v Pakistan so have just flicked this on at the interval). Probably the Indians have lost interest in Test cricket again and are already looking ahead to their IPL rubbish.
