This is good from Warner. I do think that New Zealand have a very good chance in the chase though, provided Guptill stays in.

Kiwis can chase this if target is less than 300
Looks like a stodgy surface. I think 260 will be enough for Australia, but with the way things are going for Warner, I wouldn't rule out 90 runs off the last 6 to get them beyond 300.

Is Warner still batting at Manuka Oval while the rest of the team is at the MCG? With one opener on 135 striking at 121 in the 45th over you'd expect a side to be on 280+, not 5/226

Michael Clarke's mindset is still clearly in the early 2000s if he thinks they'll be looking for 10 an over in the last 5 with Warner set & wickets in hand.
