Jeez Ferguson has a lot to work with. Really hope NZC can rig up at least some kind of informal arrangement with Bond.
The fact he not only bowls 150 but also went a whole domestic season without getting seriously injured is enough to get me excited; something Milne can't manage unfortunately.

Is never going to get big swing but with some work on seam position and fitness to maintain the pace, it's now possible to see that he could be very good.

A wicket for CdG! I would have preferred it to be Warner, but I'll take it. Still wish he'd kept the mo, but if he keeps taking wickets I'll forgive him for that.

Another excellent contribution to the annals of Australian cricket by the Marsh family

I've always liked Bailey in the ODI team but it feels time to move on from him if he persists with this technique of his. Doesn't seem like something that'll allow him to score any faster than he did today.

Those wickets were out of absolute nothing, just a nice subtle chip to a fielder and sneaking through lax defense.

Williamson has been better today, although interested to see how he uses up Ferguson here, I still think he'll mis-use him.

One thing that disappoints me about the ODI game in general, and all sides do it, is that from about the 12th to 40th over, the fielding side sets the field back and gifts easy singles at the same time that the batting side looks to accumulate and build a platform, it makes no sense to me because ultimately unless two batsmen are on attack, you should be asking them to take risks in order to score any runs - where as a lot of sides go from 3.5 RPO to 4.5 RPO between that session not actually needing to take too many risks because the field drifts backwards.

I've not understood why sides aren't more attacking and asking the batting team to hit boundaries to keep the score climbing.

NZ bowlers have showed some good bowling in all matches but it hasn't lasted. We're looking good atm but we need the bowlers to keep their composure, especially when a player like Warner is still there.

Helps that our field is doing a good job too for once.

Feel for this Head kid, he's really got his knockers in a twist today.

Trying to hit the ball too hard now. Warner should be telling him to relax & look to get him on strike.
