Personally think Burns should slide down to 4, his weakness's become to exposed opening the batting
Most of Burns runs came a bit let down the order for Queensland. I think they like him as an opener because of his weakness to spin though. It's a tough one. I'd like to see him retain his place for the next test.

Renshaw is putting runs on the board at exactly the right time here.

I hope Voges is OK. If he's concust he really shouldn't play in the next test. It would be a sad way for him to end his career though.

Pews what are your thoughts on Renshaw?
I haven't seen much of him (I doubt anyone has tbf) but I like what I've seen; definitely one to keep an eye on.

In terms of immediate selection though, the bloke had played ten ****ing games and averaged 41 before today; people are going are bit mad with the amount of times I've heard him seriously suggested.

Yeah but they just picked Joe Mennie over Jackson Bird at Hobart, who knows what's going to happen

The "England just did it" factor is big as well

I think it's a case of "why not" at this stage. He's performing at least as well as anyone else people are talking about and he doesn't do it from down the order. He's making runs in front of selectors right now and they couldn't be more timely.

Oh look another "Lyon gets outbowled by his fellow spinner" episode

But Renshaw's good, early given he's only coming back from injury but he's definitely got the goods.

Nice ton from Renshaw. Started very slowly and patiently but accelerated to a decent pace, helped by a serving of Zampa pie. Good to see someone who can actually do that.

I wouldn't have any confidence that Voges would have played the next anyway

Will Somerville very unlucky to lose his Shield spot to inferior spinner Nathan Lyon

And he played it shockingly too.

If he had any minuscule chance of not being dropped the concussion will certainly now have ended his test career.
Who was bowling at the time? And how'd he play it (what shot?)? Not really surprised, his reflexes can't be too fast any more.
