Why hasn't Renshaw been talked about as a prospect? Opens the batting for Queensland, has a healthy average, has taken a ton of catches, is young and can stay at the crease for long periods.

That sounds exactly like what we want in a future test player.

He's green now but the signs are promising.

He has though? It's all just a bit too early for him.

Thanks to the Perth cameraman for the perfect view of Cartwright checking his jewels after being hit.

Given the new selection panel, might we pick Renshaw? IIRC we took a lot of risks with selection when Chappell was one of the selectors.

This half century is quite well timed. Hopefully he can kick on and get to triple figures.

We're people seriously taking about Zampa being in the frame for tests? Renshaw is annihilating him.

It's amazing that a guy who scores as slowly as Renshaw manages to hit 4 x 6's in a score of 68. Talk about waiting for the bad balls.

I think it's a really good sign about his temperament. Smash the bad balls but play yourself in first and most importantly don't get out.

It's interesting that he's been out twice run out in his short career. Could be a sign of a problem there.

Warne aside Zampa boosterism is mostly the domain of those who don't follow FC cricket and want him picked because he's a leg spinner, and not cause he's a good bowler.

fair bit of Hayden in the way Renshaw sets up, might just be because he's so big though

It's about time Travis Dean did something again since his debut. The guy made twin unbeaten tons on debut and still only averages 35 before this game.

Just caught sight of Benton's moustache. Good lad. If cricketers are going to wear facial hair then I'll only accept the 1890's type.
