Yeah, basically channelling the 2008 Australia in South Africa team balance: better-than-part-time spinner in the top 6 because you don't need a specialist, seam bowling AR at 8, three quicks.

Not the worst plan for RSA, tbh.

Hardus is a fantastic FC in my opinion, very fast, relatively accurate but at international standard does not have all the necessary swing/seam skills. To get into the SA team right now as a pace bowler you have to get past Morkel, Abbott, next in line for me is Duanne Olivier then maybe Hardus and De Lange. Pretorius is there as an all rounder, which would be a good replacement for Maharaj in these conditions.

First two days will have little to no play. Other 3 don't look too bad.

Looking at that pitch though I invision it being a batting nightmare early on (espescially given it'll be cloudy), a bowl first pitch if you ever saw one. Please don't let it be 60 all out again.....
