**Official** England in Bangladesh 2016

good on ball for making his debut. Was initially a one day bowler at Notts before he added pace so I think might impress - although will be lacking in match fitness.

This is where we miss James Taylor desperately. Root missing, slow turners.

Feel Bangladesh have got the balance slightly wrong given the conditions. BD pitches are on the slower side and don't generally see those 350+ scores that are common elsewhere.
Playing 3 seamers especially when they are half competent at best is a bit perplexing..Taskin and Masrafe out to be sufficient and the rest of the attack should have been spinners..that's probably the best way to control England

If we are to win this series we need a big few games from Roy. Batting looks weak without Root and Hales. Vince has always looked unlucky to not get a chance in the ODI side and Duckett is a complete unknown quantity. Not a strong batting line up despite it going deep.

Indian bowling usually steps up in World Cups. I think they had a very good World Cup in 2015 as well with bowling out every opposition until the semi final.
Yep, the bowling was excellent in the last WC (and in 2003 also), except against Australia.

Dropping Rubel has made a pretty big difference to the powerplay bowling upfront.

Lol Stokes is so bad at rotating strike. He's a lol no. 5. Surely they miss James Taylor, KP, Ian Bell.

Duckett's shaped up quite well here. Looks the most comfortable against spin so far not surprisingly. Hopefully he won't be too ambitiious today. He's almost gotta play the Taylor/Root role today given the clown like dismissals of the other top 4.
