I love Taylor but he really doesn't help himself with **** like this. Should have been out around 5 times before that as well.

oh lol Ross smh

least it proves my point about him being **** lol
Had a good average for the year going into the South African series. Wicket at Centurion was too spicy and you can't see him scoring many runs out here unless the wickets are truer e.g. flat.

That was so so poor from Taylor, the coaching staff must be absolutely fuming! He'd been scrapping and working hard trying to get through a really tough period where he had looked so scratchy and then he's completely given it away with a dismissal a schoolboy would be disappointed with!

I wonder if this test match batting has saved Ronchi's spot in the ODI side considering Watling and Latham are both in the ODI squad.

Latham
Nicholls (should be at 5 but already too many lefties in the middle/lower order)
Williamson
Taylor
Ronchi
...
It's too early for Nicholls to re-invent himself as opener but it would solve a few longer-term problems if he could. I wouldn't object to him or anyone else replacing Guptill for the second test either.

Ronchi could do the same job as Baz did in both tests and ODIs and be the aggressor in the side for next 2 years or so?
