Not really irrelevant as it seems like he's saying he's not mature/ strong minded enough yet. Only have to see what happened with Kerrigan. Not saying he shouldn't go but it's not as clear as sorting by average.

Batty really should have gone the last two winters but even I think he's a little old. I'm guessing player coach to guide the younger spinners.

Batty? Was never good enough when he was in his prime so no point taking him now.

Pleased with Hameed and Duckett if true. Both had great seasons.

Would imagine Duckett must be odds on to open with Cook, a more contrasting style than Hameed, and a bit more experience. Hope they don't to anything funky like open with Moeen or Root.
