Nah it stinks. When the world's premier bowler for the last 6-7 years has played 50 less test matches than the current England captain despite debuting earlier then something seriously needs to be addressed.
Assuming Steyn's injury record would be one of those things then? Pretty sketchy thing to leave out of the calculations.

108 matches SA have played since Steyn debuted. Cook's freakish injury record and Steyn's slightly worse than normal for a bowler's is a massive reason for their disparity.

This is really high quality test match cricket now KW is at the crease. Latham looked a bit lost, but any opening bat would in those circumstances.
