Reminder?I love that Haddin shot. Scored into my brain.
3rd Test: Australia v West Indies at Perth, Dec 16-20, 2009 | Cricket Scorecard | ESPN Cricinfo is what you're looking for. So yes.Couple of shockers against the West Indies in 2009 as well. Pretty sure in one of the Tests they had the option of enforcing the follow on, didn't, and got rolled for 150 or so and ended up only winning by something like 30 runs.
2010-11 Ashes was just an absolute embarrassment. It's started a decade of shite though so probably appropriate.I actually think Boxing Day 2010 was worse in a way because it wasn't really an extreme collapse where one team just gets on a roll in helpful conditions, Melbourne was just consistently inept batting. They even got a rain break and still batted terribly.
Fair call. At least the 47/60 were on greentops, your batting was good enough to score 500+ on it.I actually think Boxing Day 2010 was worse in a way because it wasn't really an extreme collapse where one team just gets on a roll in helpful conditions, Melbourne was just consistently inept batting. intentI know we've all discussed this over and over but, wtf goes through a batsman's head to do that at 18-6
tbf that MCG wicket was a greentop and it was an overcast morning too (Strauss won the toss and stuck the Aussies in)......IIRC the sun came out for the first time as Strauss and Cook walked out to bat and they enjoyed blazing sunshine for the rest of the day.Fair call. Fair enough. I was down the coast at my cousins beach house who aren't big cricket fans when that happened so unlike the others I missed most of that whole collapsetbf that MCG wicket was a greentop and it was an overcast morning too (Strauss won the toss and stuck the Aussies in)......IIRC the sun came out for the first time as Strauss and Cook walked out to bat and they enjoyed blazing sunshine for the rest of the day.
