*Official* Pakistan in England and Ireland 2016

Yeah I really hope Hales kicks on tomorrow. Getting kind of fed up of the constant opening rotation, it would be nice if someone settled in for the long haul besides Cook.

Hales has been kind of weird because he hasn't yet looked as terrible as some of his predecessors, yet all of them managed to hit a ton which has eluded Hales so far.

Hales needs to rotate strike better. To high a % of boundaries and dots. Softer hands would help with many of his issues.

Agree with all this, and there's something about Hales that makes me want it to work out

If tomorrow is the day he comes through, then we win the match IMO

Another good thing with Hales is once he gets past 100 he has the ability to go absolutely bananas like Stokes. He'll be a very useful asset in that sense.

One thing I'm not looking forward to is the inevitable declaration chat should England not fall in a heap tomorrow.

Ftr my position is that there is no reason for England to risk a defeat. If the opportunity comes up to stick Pakistan in for a few overs tomorrow evening then great, and they absolutely need to go after Sohail who looked really unfit on day 1 in my opinion, but I wouldn't be hugely annoyed to see England still batting on day 5.

375 should be an absolute lowest case for declaration. This Pakistan side has form chasing, we have no spinner, our best bowler is a few misplaced feet away from being thrown out of the attack and Finn is bowling a torrent of ****.

If things go well for them tomorrow, England shouldn't be too trigger happy on that declaration... Especially with Younis being a 4th innings God.

You just know Warne's going to commentate last change of the afternoon session and incessantly talk about how England should give Pakistan a tough half hour before tea.

What the actual **** is going on with Cook's strike rates?

65.32
72.72
61.04
97.43
86.53
66.66

Hasn't been under 60 this entire series, it's obscene.

Pakistan appear to have a theory that short wide balls are one of his weaknesses.
