Should win this really, just based on the fielding combo of Rhodes, Symonds, Fairbrother and Chappell, plus Knott keeping. Well led by Imran, with specialist one day bowlers backing him up. My top six are all elite ODI batsmen.

Ten Doeschate (4)
Chris Harris (3)
Streak (2)

Solid if not remarkable batting lineup which goes right down to 9, Streak averaging nearly 30 @ 9 is pretty decent. Let's also remember Hick and Cronje were much better ODI than Test batsman. 7 bowlers, Hick's a part-timer but could still do damage, Bracken is an ODI beast so happy to nab him, and of course Greenidge at the top looks great as well.

Don't expect to win but think it's a cool looking team

Vicious and Delicious XI

01. David Warner
The most lethal opening batsman of this generation.

02. Mohammad Shahzad (wk)
Hard hitting batsman with a strike rate of 92 and average of 35 with 4 hundreds and 4 fifties.

Born and brought up in a refugee camp in Peshawar and reaching peaks of cool like this:

Dale Steyn is not dangerous, says Mohammad Shahzad | Cricket | ESPN Cricinfo

03. Sir Garry Sobers
He is Sir Garry Sobers.

04. Steve Smith
A batsman of great gifts, capable of being a calming influence and of hitting out. Strike rate of 88 and average of 40 with 5 hundreds and 11 fifties.

05. Clive Lloyd (c)
Scripted some great innings for the Windies in their championship run from 1975-79, including a 102 off 85 deliveries in the 1975 WC Final. Strike rate of 81 in those days and average of 39. A middle order giant.

06. Glenn Maxwell
The Big Show to hit it out of the park during the final overs, and to provide off spin if need be. Strike rate of 124 and average of 32 with 1 hundred and a few gazillion 90s.

07. Corey Anderson
A Maxi and Corey knockout punch would be devastating. Strike rate of 114 and average of 32. Hit 131* off 47 deliveries against the Windies in 2014. Also provides a sixth bowling option after Sir Garry.

08. Gary Gilmour
Legendary performances in the semi-final and final of the 1975 WC. A beautiful swing bowler who will be opening the bowling along with Colin Croft. Bowling average of 10, strike rate of 20, and econ of 3.09. A hard hitting late act as well, with a strike rate of 107 in those days. Has a test average of 23 with a hundred to boot. A perfect number 8.

09. Colin Croft
Lethal bowler who played a big role in the Windies 1979 campaign, taking 3 wickets each in the semis and the final. Devastated England in 1981 with 6/15. Bowling econ 3.47, average of 20 and strike rate of 35.

10. Shaun Tait

One of my favourite ODI bowlers. Bowling average 23, strike rate 27, and econ 5.19. Had an incredible 2007 World Cup campaign, trailing behind only Glenn McGrath in the wickets tally.

11. Imran Tahir
A wonderful ODI bowler. Can spin a web of tricks, with his googly having gotten him many a wicket. Has already had two fansastic World Cup campaigns in 2011 and 2015. 98 wickets in 56 innings with an econ of 4.65, average 23, and strike rate 30.

Depth of batting with two great hard hitters at 6 and 7, and a useful hard hitter at number 8. Depth of bowling with Corey Anderson as sixth bowling option after Sir Garry, and great variety in attack.

Harris should bat above Moin

lol if I'm batting Moin @ 9 I may as well have placed Latif instead of him... wasn't Moin and him meant to be a case of Stewart vs Russell? With Moin supposedly being the inferior keeper but superior bat?

I also forgot Ten Doeschate averaged 60 lol. Maybe should go higher than 6. Definitely padded by playing weaker teams though

Streak was more of a genuine batsman who could play big strokes if and when he wanted to. Moin, on the other hand, used to run well between wickets and he had that street smartness to snatch runs either in singles or boundaries.

If we are comparing them in terms of their batting abilities I would have Streak above Moin, but it depends on team combination and your strategy.

Quinton and KP to play big knocks for my team. Both can be destructive and have the ability to score big at the same time.

Johnson, Ross, Cairns and Malik to build a platform and all have the ability to go big when needed.

Cairns, Kapil and O’Donnell will provide the firepower for my batting in death overs.

Have also seen Henry play big strokes but was surprised to see he averages 30 with the bat in his short career so far.

Kapil Dev to lead my bowling attack with two immensely talented pacers who have proven their worth already in their initial stages of international career.

Cairns, O’Donnell, Malik and Johnson to play the supporting role and bowl chunk of the middle overs.

Decent fielding unit. Not a draft winning team but happy with how it turned out after some mistakes I made in initial rounds.
