Ashwin is not in good form.. The real trouble is how useless Saurabh Tiwary seems to be right now... At one time he and Rayudu were the young guns propping up Mumbai after oldie marquee players kept doing **** all for them for a couple of seasons...

I feel like Dhoni not bowling him has sapped Ashwin's confidence in himself.. Or maybe he was losing confidence and Dhoni saw it and avoided bowling him which doesn't help either.

Ashwin was at the form of his life - he reached rank 1 in test cricket and bowled superbly against SA in the T20 series in India - before bowling ok in 1-2 ODIs on the hard decks on Australia...At that point itself, Dhoni started dumping him (Ashwin was dropped after just 1 or 2 ODIs in Australia for Gurkeerat !!! )...

Nah.. Ash is not in form and MS still has to use him in powerplays coz rest of his bowlers pretty much suck at that stage anyways. To add to it he has got a pretty ordinary fielding side and almost no hitters to come in the late order. Ideally he needs to bat 4 and Bhatia 5 at all times and let the rest bat around them.

Yeah, I get the feeling all is not well between those two right now. It's baffling how he has treated him in recent times. Also, he was unreal against SL in that 3-match series, and very good in the following Asia Cup.

Bowlers lacked character: MS Dhoni after loss against KKR
Since when did Dhoni start throwing his players under the bus, disappointing stuff. Didn't see him blaming himself when he was their worst batsman in the previous game.
