Can always happen unfortunately. First ball was gash, but the next two weren't bad, just the batsmen leant back and got underneath them.

Didn't look like he ran in properly to me, almost like he was trying to put the ball there.

Would have been better aiming outside off, harder to leverage a wider yorker.

All 4 were terrible balls. Great striking but all in the slot.

Still they've done brilliantly to get to the final and played superbly for large parts of it. Added lots to this tournament.

Is this the record for the most runs successfully chased in the final over of a major final? I thought England had the game at the start of the over and it was more or less finished after three balls. Incredible.

First ball from Stokes was ****, the rest showed the risk of trying to bowl yorkers - miss by a foot and it can go for six. Think he should've tried to bowl wide of off, but hindsight is 20/20 and all that. Good hitting, mind you; didn't have a lot of room to get under them but managed it three times in a row.

I haven't bothered watching the last one. The 2nd and 3rd are pretty much middle stump yorkers, Brathwaite just got so deep in his crease and was able to get underneath them.

I think the biggest shame is that they didn't need 30-something so Ben Stokes couldn't show his skill for another two balls.

Stokes got the length more or less right; but landing them all in the slot (and the stinker first ball) was pretty bad.

Didn't mix them up. No variations. No change of line or length. 3 balls all right up there for Braithwaite to get under.

Amazing hitting under pressure but some pretty mediocre bowling too.
