Perfect opportunity for some downhill ski-ing, however spectacular it may appear. Chasing a moderate total against a mediocre attack in a side that's blatantly got their minds on the flight home.

As for England's batting, less said the better.

So the bowling has been just fine, its the batsmen that let them down.

Based on one or two games? Australia will also get hammered by that logic. Tough to bowl to these guys in this kind of form.

OMG that was a magnificent shot from Amla. That pad flick was prime 90s-Sachin like.

Finn looking better and better with each game he's not playing in.

Jordan hopefully played himself out of contention for the World Cup.

Well no. That's not even almost the point I made. I just said I don't think his style makes him a better opener than #8.

I've seen nothing from him to suggest that him opening the batting on current form would be anything other than a disaster.

Still, why let pesky facts get in the way?
You did say that, you said he's exactly the batsman you want to come in the last 10 overs, do you really want me to go find your post?

So getting 2 ODI centuries as an opener isn't enough to show you he's a better opener? Everyone can see it but you.

really disappointing finishing from England after the fantastic partnership between Buttler and Morgan...They were 157/3 after 16.2 overs....In last 3.4 overs they managed 14/7

They are not batting with clear heads...Someone needs to give them a plan for how to bat in different situations while batting first

And now they are getting murdered by AB and Amla as expected.

Really should have brought on the spinner earlier when the
quicks were getting hammered so badly anyway.

EDIT : Perhaps not
