haha, tbh i don't think he honestly believes the **** he's saying, or at least could easily be swayed - he just likes being in the spotlight. he's a born provoker

I could imagine myself five years ago trying to sell people on Ancient Aliens Theory for ****s and giggles. On national TV? Probably not. But good luck to him.

this is obvious, but you just know there are bogans watching it on tv thinking it's serious and getting outraged

Theres nothing wrong with Ancient Aliens, tbh. People mocked Nibiru for so long and what do you know, they actually found the planet recently.

Steve Waugh almost seems too Australian for some Australians to like him.

Win at all costs, enjoy taking your opponent by the throat and holding them there for many years with your foot, make the tough calls while being captain and give nothing away for free. I thought he was the ultra Australian; made the most out of his talent of any Australian cricketer perhaps ever and never had the "rubber series" doldrums that other captains had.

I don't think it's a unique Australian trait to focus on doing a job to the best of your abilities and not letting team politics and egos get in the way of winning.

As far as I'm aware he never oversaw anything ugly take place on or off the cricket pitch. I've never heard of any Greg Chappell-type hardnosed attitude or anything like that.
