***Official*** Australia in New Zealand 2016

Stace

First Class Debutant
He can muscle it through in the low 140's when he has the mind to do so, but doesn't really have the control to build pressure in tests. Can be a handy contributor when it's swinging, but just bowls too many 4 balls when it isn't.
Sounds exactly like the start of Stokes' career, I would be positive because if he can get some control he can be a handful.

I am desperate for another NZ-ENG series it was pathetic only having 2 Test's last year.

Don't mind it with Gup. He just doesn't have the defensive game to play a rear guard. Reckon he'll last longer (and score heaps more runs) playing like this than by engaging his brain.
Certainly should play some shots, just going a little over the top trying to hook with two men out etc.

nah he's not a similar bowler at all to Stokes, who's jump and energy transfer through the crease looks like that of a genuine bowler.

Anderson is one of those muscular sorta bowlers that kinda heaves the ball through.

Yeh I see what you mean about Stokes there, good point.

Anyway I need to get some sleep before the England game, I really hope NZ do well and KW especially.

Can someone give the stats on how many times we've been punked in the first test of a series? Seems like it happens more often than not.
