What the ****?While stating that it had independent evidence corroborating Yasir's account, the ICC cited that the player had informed Pakistan physiotherapist Bradley Robinson and the Doping Control Officer in attendance at the time that he had taken the medicine. In its detailed report on the matter, the ICC said: "It has confirmed that during the doping control process YS [Yasir Shah] informed Pakistan team physiotherapist Bradley Robinson that he had taken a single blood pressure tablet some 4 days previously, which had been given to him by his wife with both (1) the Doping Control Officer who was in attendance at the time; and (2) with the ICC's AntiDoping and Medical Officer, to whom Mr Robinson relayed his conversation with YS regarding the blood pressure medication whilst YS and the Doping Control Officer were completing the Doping Control Form."
So not only did he "inadvertently" take his wife's BP medication - which reportedly looks identical to his - but he was also aware that he took it, and aware of the exact time frame that he took it.
This is absolute garbage.
With their track record I wouldn't be surprised of the latter tbfI mean I'm not much of a conspiracy theorist but this is a complete cover up by the ICC. That or gross incompetence.
Not really. I don't think this would be especially hard to prove on a "balance of probabilities" basis. It is possible I suppose. Not buying it but if he was able to show that his own medication looked identical to his wifes then it's hard to charge him.
It's been proven that certain types of steroids help immeasurably in golf e.g. as a building block for more power and also for slowing the heart rate when under pressurePower and injury recovery. It's probably the sport that requires doping the least that isn't something like golf or snooker, but let's not pretend that there isn't an advantage here.
It's also extremely interesting that both he and his wife are on blood pressure medication at a relatively young age.
From a quick Google, the US has some of the lowest apparently. Pakistan has a serious high BP problem on the other hand.![]()
And yet both Yasir and his wife are on BP medication.

That's in the United States, btw. Where people's diets are the worst in the world. I would imagine those numbers are much lower in Pakistan.
yeah I just looked that up after Mister's post and it seems that indeed the SC has a serious hypertension problem. From a quick Google, the US has some of the lowest apparently. Pakistan has a serious high BP problem on the other hand.
Surely this is trolling?Wouldn't expect anything less from an organisation that picked a convicted fixer as soon as he was available.
It is indeed very unfortunate that Yasir ended up in a relationship that had a combined 0.76% chance of events transpiring thusly.![]()
And yet both Yasir and his wife are on BP medication.

They did not cover up the Kusal Perera episode. They've just run up against a deceitful board that now knows and wants to game the system.I mean I'm not much of a conspiracy theorist but this is a complete cover up by the ICC. That or gross incompetence.
