I dunno. Number 1 team and Number 3 team in the rankings. Usually Test series are accompanied by ODI series so. Aaaand we haven't had a series between these two sides in ages. edit: I realise that this wouldn't be happening and only is because a Test was dropped but in general, is Australia playing NZ in a ODI series meaningless? A few months ago the prospect seemed better in terms of quality i.e. might've had Starc, Johnson, Southee and Taylor all playing.
