Not sure if this has been asked before, but why is Tendulkar only credited with 197 matches rather than 200?

Travesty that cricrate's top 100 batting performances doesn't have Pews' double hundred in there imo. Best double ever. Ben Stokes eat your heart out.

Thanks! Appreciate the support - my initial quest was just to make a better rating system than ICC but it has become much more and a lot of the evolution is thanks to suggestions from this forum.

Root below AB is not something I agree with at all given their respective form over quite an extended period.

Couple of reasons:
- AB is coming off an ATG current rating peak (#6 all-time)
- If you look at the last 20 innings, even though in terms of runs AB is behind, his runs have been in tougher situations (especially the recent India series where he was the only one who consistently did well in team)

Root's hunderd in 3rd Test was in incredibly difficult situation, where AB failed - as was his hundred at Trent Bridge given the conditions.
