BD won the toss and will bat first
I gather from friends Fijian Indians tend to be more in to football than cricket.I'm surprised that the Fijian team is made up of ethnic Fijians. I thought most of the players would be ethnically Indian.
I didn't know that but I guess Roy Krisna is pretty decent. I wonder if Vijay Singh ever swung a cricket bat?I gather from friends Fijian Indians tend to be more in to football than cricket.
"When we were kids we couldn't afford golf balls so we had to make do with coconuts. My father used to say, 'Little Vijay, golf balls don't fall off trees you know,' so I found some that did!" Growing up, he played snooker, cricket, football, and the island's most popular sport, rugby.
Whitehead looks impressive with the amount of turn & bounce he gets as SLABeen a good start. Not much movement but good discipline from our batting all-rounders with the ball. Now we will have Sipamla hopefully strike & we have offie Philander + the beautiful SLA spinner Whitehead. If we need a 6th bowler it will be little seamer Willie Ludick.
Pinak looked like a seasoned pro & the way Shanto started he looks to have a bit about him.
Very orthodox but lovely action. Piedt is quite young but for variation it will be great to have a SLA. He can bat too.Whitehead looks impressive with the amount of turn & bounce he gets as SLA
