I'm sorry but Rahane just isn't a #4, and I hate to criticize him because he's forced into batting at that position. It's really screwing India up.

Heh, it's sad because he's a #4 if the top order didn't have 2 of the best ODI batsmen in the world. That said I don't think there's others who would do a better job than he is atm.

I'd still rather have Dhoni come in at 4 unless India are two down within like the first 10 overs. With Rahane it's mostly the strike rotation that is the issue, and this is taking into consideration that Australian pitches are arguably the best for his style of batting given he likes the ball to come into the bat.
