When it's your day and all that.Hahaha, what?
TBF, they have lost one of the best opening batsmen ever, one of the best captains ever, one of the best wk/batsmen ever and arguably the greatest cricketer ever plus Steyn & Vern are injured AND they are battling quotas whilst being relatively underpaidHave a hard time buying that you need any more motivation to play at your best than when you're defending your no. 1 ranking. The team has simply declined like all very good teams do. It's been rather quick though, admittedly.
Was about to say that, albeit not much spin to test himself against.Amidst the Broad-god-mode praise, I'd like to bring forward that Jonny looks quite good today behind the stumps.
Yeah he can just take a long time to get back to his best, he looked so innocuous in that West Indies series, still not great against NZ but then has been his best ever since the ashes started. He's only really had one bad series that wasn't injury related since the India one in 2011 IMO.
First instinct says yes, but then again I didn't actually watch that session. When it's your day and all that.
Is this better than TB last year?
Confidence is a wonderful thing. Had a good series bar one stumping and a couple of drops which in 3 matches may be more than he would like but not a total disaster.Amidst the Broad-god-mode praise, I'd like to bring forward that Jonny looks quite good today behind the stumps.
Off field for 15 minutes so have to wait, and Stokes has bowled really well.Where's Finn?!
