That's true when the opposition spinners are slightly better than the SA ones. Currently the difference in standard between the Indian spinners and SA spinners is so huge that the pitch doesn't matter as long as it aids spin.

So happy for him. Been a fan for a year now..I think he should be a regular in ODI sides now and Steyn should only play maximum 1-2 games in an ODI series.

Glad he got a game today.
